How do i go about setting up a walking bus? Loads of the kids at my child's school are within walking disatance, yet are dropped off in the car. The school are interested but not willing to organise it. Where do i start?

Ask the school if they would be willing to organise a letter to parents with a slip to fill in if they are intersted. Once you have an idea of numbers, you then need to work out how many adults you need. (Rememeber they will need to be CRB checked to compy with all regulations). Once you have established the number of children and where they need to be picked up from, you sort out a route and timings. If necessary, several buses may be needed to get everyone to school on time!
